INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup whole milk
1 1/2 teaspoons unflavored powdered gelatin
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
3 heaping teaspoons instant coffee powder
1/4 cup sugar
Pinch salt
1 small dark chocolate bar, for garnishing
STEPS:
- Pour milk in a heavy sauce pan.
- Sprinkle gelatin powder on top of the milk. Wait for 5 minutes.
- Stir gelatin over medium heat just until it dissolves, do not let the milk boil until about 2 minutes.
- Add the cream, coffee powder, sugar, and salt.
- Stir over low heat, until the sugar dissolve.
- Remove from the heat and let it cool.
- Pour the cream mixture into the molds or glass, dividing equally. Cover and refrigerate.
- Chill until set, at least 6 hours
