Dakgalbi


KOREAN RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

500 g Chicken Breast cut into bite size

2 tbsp Refined rice wine

1/4 tsp Ginger powder

3 dash of Pepper

3 tbsp Gochujang

1 tbsp Minced garlic

1 tbsp Korean chili powder

1 tbsp Korean soy sauce

1 tbsp Dark brown sugar

1 tsp Korean yellow curry powder

1/2 onion, chopped

1 medium size sweet potato cubed

1/3 of a medium carrot,sliced

1/4 of a small cabbage thinly slieced

11 perilla leaves or sesame leaves, ggaennip thinly sliced

STEPS:

  • Put chicken in a bowl, add rice wine, ginger powder and pepper. Soak it for 15 minutes.
  • Add Gochujang, garlic, korean chili powder, korean soy sauce, dark brown sugar and korean yellow curry powder and mix it well th
  • Pour it n the chicken then add onion and mix. Leave it for 1 hour.
  • Pre-heat the wok for about 20 seconds.
  • Put some olive oil in the wok.
  • Put all the vegetables into the wok and sauté.
  • Add the chicken and sauté.
  • Prepare some lettuce and perilla leaves to wrap the cooked Dakgalbi.
