Pliny the Elder

Pliny the Elder is definitely the best light beer I had ever tasted! This beer made from California, USA is truly a worldwide favorite; it is very evident on different beer reviews in the internet, magazine and newspapers.
The appearance of this best light beer pours a clear golden color with a bit of light copper mixed in. A big, frothy, creamy white head appears and stays around for a long time throughout the drinking experience I may say. It leaves some scattered lacing behind. Numerous very small bubble streams rise to the top creating a lively and inviting appearance. Even it has that simple graphics; its lacing effect was the best. It is a “push factor” so you would be tempted to taste it.

Its aroma is another great factor for this best light beer. The first aspect I noticed was a blast of fruits, which I considered okay. This included orange and lemon citrus and mango and pineapple tropical fruit aromas. A touch of floral hops finishes this one off. I like it very much. The hops plus the fruit scents, considering that this fruits are worldwide favorites as well.

The taste is quite different than the aroma, but certainly not in a bad way. There is a significant increase in pine-ish and resin-ish taste that isn't found as easily in the smell. A mild spicy hop profile is also noticeable as recognized on all beer reviews as well. The citrus and tropical fruits are present, but not as up front as in the nose. A slightly hop bitterness acts as the conclusion.

The mouthfeel of this best light beer has definitely on the heavier side for an IPA. A resin-ish feel coats the tongue while a perfect amount of carbonation allows the flavors to dance across the palate. Its nice, crisp finish prepares you for the next tasting. I definitely love everything about this beer. No wonder it gained almost majority of positive feedbacks on different beer reviews.

I have enjoyed the DIPA of this best strong beer! It's no wonder this is constantly rated as one of the great beers out there. This beer is recommended to all those beer lovers out there! Definitely, a perfect beer for all of us.
