To do a beer review for a Parabola from Firestone Walker Brewing Company is good thing to do before wrapping up the night. I consider this one as one of the best strong beer ever! This beer made from California, United States is simply a "MUST TRY!"

The appearance of this best strong beer is a commendable one. Jet black, opaque with subtle ruby highlights at the top of the body makes it really attractive. It pours a thin, bubbly, mocha-colored head that settles into a ring around the glass. Pretty good lacing for a 12.5% ABV beer. A very attractive looking Russian Imperial Stout. It is the most commendable feature of this beer on beer reviews in the internet.

Parabola's aroma is amazing as well. Soft notes of vanilla and oak up front made this best strong beer a lot amazing. There is lots of vanilla and oak, but it is not in-your-face-strong. Figs, raisins and cherries were pretty apparent too. Creamy chocolate is the very theme of its aroma. Some really mellow bourbon notes and a little molasses are present as well same with some touch of booziness. Very complex and balanced aroma indeed.

The taste of this best strong beer is very smooth, nuanced, complex and balanced! No single flavor is in your face, but there are a lot of different, noticeable flavors here. Brown sugar and creamy, unsweetened chocolate hit first then lots of dark fruits followed. Tons of fig and raisin sweetness on the mid-palate and vanilla and oak with a little dark rum towards the end. Some bourbon and molasses in the finish with a little alcohol warmth. As the beer layers, I am detecting hints of roasted nut. Plum comes out too, and more bourbon as it layers. More unsweetened chocolate in the finish as it layers. This one is absolutely delicious, and boy does it linger! It truly deserves to be one of the best strong beer ever!

Parabola's mouthfeel was full bodied, thick and oily. Quite viscous, with the perfect level of carbonation until it finishes slightly sweet. 

Overall, an absolute flavor bomb that is incredibly balanced. The bourbon builds up as it layers, but neither it nor the dark-fruit sweetness of the beer ever overwhelm. Can't wait to see how age affects this brew! All beer reviews gave this one a good remark!

This beer is recommended for all! Not too intense for casual beer drinkers, and loaded with enough complex flavors for even the most jaded beer geek. This is a brew that lives up to its hype. Bottom line: Seek this one out! This is a good pair for a well-aged steak. This is a special beer that should be paired with a classy meal. Probably would pair well with a fancy warm chocolate cake.

Duck Duck Gooze

Duck Duck Gooze is one of the best light beers that my cousin has recommended to me. Usually, I hate those beers that my cousin is telling me to taste, but this one; I truly LIKE it, and hey I read beer reviews regarding this and it seems a lot true!  This beer made from California, United States is simply epic and all beer lovers out there must try!

The appearance of this best light beer was okay. From a 750ml corked and caged bottle this brew pours a clear golden yellow color with a pillow of white fizzy head sitting atop. The bubbles are fairly large and the cap is supported by a constant stream of rising carbonation. This is quite an attractive looking offering that displays no haze and spotty lacework clings to the glass.

The smell of this best light beer is funky suggesting notes of Brett that are introduced in a pleasing way that breaks up a readily apparent indication of fruity lemon zest. The smell of this brew was an exciting surprise of lemon verse the funk I was expecting. There is seemingly no indication of alcohol to be found in this smell. It is well rounded and super enjoyable before I have even taken a sip. Every beer reviews commend its smell.

The taste of this best light beer is quite acidic blended with notes of Brett that impart a lightly cheese-like flavor coupled with an overall funkiness. It is both tart and acidic that gives an accent to the light lemon flavor that is included. The Brett is enjoyable, not too subtle that you have to search for it and not overpowering at all. The lemony aspect seemingly clings inside the mouth with nearly an oily lasting power of resins. At times this brew seems to pick up a contrasting sweetness that is revealed as I concentrate more on the lemony flavor. The blend here of flavors is enjoyable and seemingly different with every sip, awesome array of tartness, acidity and funk before the first indications of the bitey alcohol reveals itself once the brew is warm. This is the reason why I agree to my cousin for the first time. It deserves to be called one of the best light beers!

This is a medium to light bodied brew with a moderate to high level of carbonation. Very easy drinking and enjoyable with it's tangy acidity and drying quality on the tongue. The alcohol is well integrated into this brew, it just works. Each sip has a big salivation factor to it which urged me to drink more almost carelessly without thinking about the characteristics it was offering. The only thing I can fault this beer for is its lack of availability. I wish I could drink this on a regular basis. All beer reviews regarding this beer (those positive ones) are so true! This beer is recommended for office parties and other family gatherings.

Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout

Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout is one of the best strong beer! This beer made from Illinois, United States is a favorite due to its unique taste. Several feed backs from different beer reviews gave it a good comment.

This best strong beer pours completely black with visible viscosity.  Not quite motor oil, but pretty darn thick.  A very thin mocha-colored head gently sits atop the blackness and remains there for most of the glass.  Great legs and a decent amount of lacing is one of the plus factor for this best strong beer.

Its aroma was good as well! Barrel characteristics are dominant; great bourbon, oak, and vanilla right up front, making a wonderful English toffee aroma. The coffee is a little more subdued that I had expected, but this is exactly what I was hoping for.  Being about a year old  in our house may have toned down some of the coffee qualities, but I was hoping that it would subtly add to the already complex BCBS. Beer reviews commend its aroma and the newly brewed beer is as great as the stored beer.

The taste of this best strong beer is a just a small plus factor. Coffee is a little more pronounced in the flavor, but it's not overwhelming at all. The coffee is more concentrated and fresh; resembling espresso perhaps. Bourbon, dark chocolate, oak, vanilla, toffee are just behind the coffee, really putting the taste buds to work.  Finishes somewhat sweeter than the start, but again, it's not overwhelming. Amazing complexity yet balanced almost to perfection.  Just a bit of booze at the end that creates a complementary warming effect. I still commend its taste for its uniqueness. It still passes my taste although its not that much of the "best". Beer reviews got different feed backs on its taste but majority of it still gave Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout a good remark.

Mouthfeel was okay. This stuff can coat.  This is thick, creamy, and viscous on the palate.  There is a weight to it that sits on the tongue and leaves almost as much of an impression as the taste itself.  Lower carbonation seems great for the beer ... just enough to enhance the flavors and creaminess, but not enough to make it prickly.

Despite the "size" of the beer, it was pretty darn easy to put down.  The bottle was split four ways, and, although I wish I had some more of it, a fourth of a bottle was really enough to meet optimal satisfaction.  It wasn't work putting it down like some other big stouts, but might had become that if I had consumed any more.  Definitely my favorite of the BCBS lineup that I've tried thus far.  

Overall, I loved this best strong beer!  This beer is recommended for dinner parties and other family gatherings. You should put this beer on the list of beers you should taste!

Bell's Hopslam Ale

Bell's Hopslam Ale is one of the best light beers I had ever tasted. This beer made from Michigan, United States is an all time favorite. It is mostly liked due to its great taste. It is an online favorite as well on different beer reviews.

The appearance of this best light beer is a bit normal. This bottle was a gusher which surprised me, but it could have been jostled around while chilling. Pours a clear deep golden or almost pale amber with a finger of frothy off-white head that slowly recedes to cling to the edges of my glass. Nice lacing as the snifter drains. I have always thought Hopslam is a beautiful looking beer.

Hops: this word much describe this best light beer. The first sniff produced a waive of hops that washed over my entire nasal cavity. That was followed with the fresh scent of pine that was very reminiscent of freshly cut grass, or a forest. Points deducted because of the sweet, syrupy scent that was also detected when I smelled it. It doesn't suit well for me but on some beer reviews, they enjoy its mixed effect.

The taste of this best light beer is a great one. Good balance of honey/caramel malt sweetness and piney hop bitterness; emphasis leans slightly towards the hops. Really a lot going on here in the hops department hence Hopslam; floral, citrus, and spicy notes subtly come and go in the background. Alcohol is noticeable, but subdued. There seems to be long drawn out aftertaste of what tastes like green apples, perhaps acetaldehyde? Maybe a yeast ester; but it doesn't matter anyway because I love the taste itself and I find the after taste awesome!

The mouthfeel for this best light beer is great for the style. The tongue was harshly beaten by the hops in this beer, but the sweet syrup finish placated the uncomfortable feeling the hops produce. Personally, I love the feeling of hops on the tongue, and to me that really made this beer; several beer reviews agrees with me in this state.   

Overall, this beer lived up to the hype for me. To be honest, I would actively seek this out again. This beer is recommended for all those who want to taste different brands of beer. This is one of the best, and I bet you would enjoy it yourself!
